About the authority's system, about Albatriq, and about what you need to start.
There is no electronic receipt or invoice system in Libya, and Albatriq sends nothing to anybody. The receipt is recorded with a serial number and printed for the customer, every sale shows in stock and the books, and your reports are ready for the accountant and for any review.
No. There is no electronic signature, no certificate and no registration with anybody. You sign up with a trade name, an email and a mobile number, and sell the same day.
On the mobile app the sale is saved on the device and sent as soon as the line is back, so the sale finishes when the internet drops. Signing in and the first catalogue download need a connection, and the browser till needs one because it runs on the server.
Yes. Items and customers are imported from an Excel or CSV file using a ready template, and the Business and Enterprise plans include a REST API for issuing receipts and reading sales and stock from your current system — so it stays the source of the data if you want it to.
Signing up is immediate and the free trial starts at once: add your branches, tills and items and sell the same day. Nothing to wait for and nothing to install on your machines.
An issued receipt is never edited or deleted, so your records stay trustworthy. A return is a separate receipt linked to the original: you pick the items and quantities, Albatriq refuses to return more than is left, puts the goods back into stock and posts the effect to the books automatically.
A receipt is a sale to a consumer from the till screen: fast, printed at once, paid on the spot. A company invoice is in the name of a company or an account customer: it starts from a quotation or a sales order, is paid in full or in part later, and the balance shows on the customer statement. Both come from the same account and post to stock and the books the same way.
There is no VAT in Libya, so prices are entered as they are sold and nothing is added to the receipt. Discounts and promotions come off the price, and the total is what the customer pays.
The moment you press Pay: it takes a serial number on its till, is printed, and posts to stock and the books. After that it is never edited or deleted — a correction is a return linked to it, so your records stay sequential with no gaps.
An issued invoice is never edited or deleted — a correction is a credit or debit note linked to the original, and both stay in your records. Albatriq links the note to the original automatically and posts its effect to the books, stock and the customer balance.
An issued invoice is not cancelled. The equivalent is a credit note for the full amount linked to the original, which zeroes its balance while both stay in your records — because the original may already have reached the customer.
Yes. Every branch has its own stock and tills, every till its own numbering, and every cashier their own account tied to their till. The owner sees all branches from one screen, and reports read per branch or for the whole company.
The monthly allowance counts the documents you issue — receipts and company invoices together. Returns and notes are separate documents and count too. You can see your usage at any time on the subscription screen.
Every plan includes receipts, company invoices and credit and debit notes. Plans differ in limits, not documents: documents per month, branches, tills and users, and the API on the Business and Enterprise plans. The modules — stock, accounts, purchasing, payroll and the rest — are added to any plan at their monthly price.
